Celentano was named the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021 and earned All-Big Ten First Team honors. He has also been recognized as a key contributor to FC Cincinnati's defensive improvements in MLS.

Roman Celentano is an American professional soccer goalkeeper who began his career with the Chicago Fire FC academy before moving to the University of Indiana, where he was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021. He was selected by FC Cincinnati in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft and quickly established himself as a reliable shot-stopper in Major League Soccer. Celentano has also represented the United States at the youth international level.

Celentano is a commanding goalkeeper known for his excellent shot-stopping ability and composure under pressure.
