Bakambu won the Turkish Süper Lig title with Bursaspor in 2009-10 and the Greek Super League with Olympiacos in 2021-22. Individually, he was the top scorer in the Chinese Super League in 2018 and has been a key player for DR Congo in African Cup of Nations tournaments.
